I managed to catch up with Stu Graham a couple of months back for some photos. The weather was damp and frosty but decided to head out to this spot on the off chance it would be dry.
Man this bank is tough to skate, it's up hill with only about 30 feet run up, rough as hell, and has loads of shit lying around everywhere. We had to use massive soft wheels just to get enough speed to get to the top of the bank.
He managed to get a feeble on it and i took advantage of the blue sky to get in a few portraits.

Sunday Sequence
This weeks Sunday Sequence goes to Morgan Campbell. I was going to say that this was shot around 2002 but you can clearly see the date on the bank. 2000, jesus, doesn't time fly! This was taken at the Livi Fun Day if you hadn't already guessed. Morgan rode for Blueprint for a brief time, so brief infact that not a lot of people knew or can remember.

Es La Calle Homie
Es la Calle Homie from beltran on Vimeo.
Check this video out from Spain, it doesn't get more tech than this. I'm pretty sure you woun't have heard of most of these guys, however, Jesus Fernandez does the fastest backside tailslide kickflip out i've ever seen! Well worth the watch for that alone.

Javier Paredes
My Good friend Borja from Welcome Skateboards in Madrid just sent me this little video. Some heavy heavy bangers inside their training facility from Javier Paredes. I'm claiming him as one to watch in the future, especially as he's just of to San Diego to live the dream.
Check it out and be amazed!

Bryan Jones
I've shot so much stuff at Bristo over the years, to the point where i actually refuse to take any photos there now. Everything has been done before, the ledges are low, rounded, and have big gaps in them. Don't get me wrong, i love Bristo, i just hate taking photos there. Maybe it's the fact that i've seen so much go down there that a lot of people don't know who did what?
One guy who tops the list of who did what is Bryan Jones. I think he's done everything, bigger and better than most. I haven't see anyone skate the big set since i shot these photo 6 years ago, and thats the truth.
Not sure if it's because of the the corner you have to turn or because of the cobbles, (both of which didn't stop Bryan) but they now go unskated. It wasn't just the stairs, Bryan would always go off and find something to skate whether it be a traffic cone
or a metal barrier
He would always find something.
For those kids out there that don't know who Bryan is, he's the guy in the Shorts that can 360 flip every go, skate the second ledge on the monument with ease, and ollie 5 times higher than you!

Andy Rae pt 2
I can't even remember when this was taken, probably round 2001. I didn't have a flash for my camera at the time but Andy had one lying around his flat that i borrowed. It didn't have any settings but the photo turned out ok. A lot of skating went down at the Bath St Banks over the years but like all good things in the skate world, they are now unskateable.
Hey Girdy, how about sharing some of that footage???

Re-edit
Well i did a bit more filming this week and a few of us headed out to Saltcoats again. The rest of the time was spent down Kelvingrove having a barbeque and enjoying more of the sun so i thought i best re-edit that last footage into this weeks. Here it is...
