Why so serious? This is the only time i've seen Keith without a moustache, it doesn't look right, right? I took the liberty of going to the moustache database to see if i could find an exact fit. It was taking too long, so with some photoshop magic i think i drew it on myself.



When he's not brushing his moustache he likes to do awesome Backside Nosegrind Reverts.

Focus DC Comp

We've teamed up with DC to bring you a rad filming comp and you could win a ton of DC product for you and your pals. Simply create a 2 minute skate video, filmed in Scotland between the 1st July and the 1st of August 2011.

DC Comp The Rules

All edits to be submitted by the 8th August 2011 to Focus and DC for judging.

Edit must contain the following.

A line at a skatepark in Scotland.

A trick near a famous Scottish landmark or a famous local landmark.

An interesting or weird fact about your town or city in the end credits.

Music must be by a Scottish band or musician. Extra bonus points if you use the Bay City Rollers.*

Bonus points for home made spots and skating in a kilt.

Once you've created your masterpiece, you can upload it to your preferred video hosting site (we like Vimeo), or share it on our Facebook page or Twitter. You can always mail your links (no video attachments please) to us here.

Creature Hits Edinburgh

Edinburgh is going off this month!

Supra Tour Hits Edinburgh

It really doesn't get much bigger than this. The entire Supra team will be at Saughton skate park in Edinburgh next Tuesday the 7th June at 4pm for a demo and signing. In attendance will be none other than Stevie Williams, Chad Muska, Lizard King, Ali Boulala, Tom Penny, Erik Ellington, Furby, Jim Greco, Matt Mumford, Terry Kennedy, Boo Johnson, Spencer Hamilton and Keelan Dadd. You'd be mental to miss this.

This wasn't a land, he was on it a good few times but the board kept shooting out from under him.
There's also some light leak on the top right corner. To the untrained eye you probably wouldn't notice, i do, and it does my tits in. It happened again this weekend so i need to get one of my film back re-sealed.
Oh the joy of shooting on film.

Danny Jack

After a few months down under, Focus team rider Danny Jack has returned to Sunny Scotland. He's been out skating pretty much everyday when he's not working, filming or shooting photos. I think Zander has been filming for The Harmony's next project. Should be sick to see a full section from Danny again.

Crazy Dave

I shot these two photos on the first day of collage. They were taken on a Pentax K1000, i didn't have my own camera yet so i got used to using that for a few months. It's a dope camera.



I didn't know what to expect from my classmates but there were a couple of characters for sure. It was only a small class, i think maybe 10 students? It was a small photography department so we all spent a lot of time together. Dave was by far and is by far one of the weirdest dudes i've ever met. I remember one night while skating at the park (Livi) I heard someone shouting from the other side, i looked up and saw it was Dave. I skated over to see what was up, he was a little drunk and was shouting "Graham, you're a human being!" Then he went on to say that you could put some funky multi coloured lights in the big bowl and shoot some crazy photos.
Another time at collage he was convinced that the FBI or 'Feds' were after him and they were trying to get into his locker. he showed me where they had drilled a hole in the padlock. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case, but he was adamant it was them!



Regardless of the silly stories, Dave was awesome. I also think he was way ahead of his time, i mean look at that hipster outfit, it's even shot all out of focus and shit!

Blur

I shot this just before Christmas. The security at this spot is the worst, I managed to talk the guy into giving me five minutes hence the shite lighting. Also looks like Daniel has no legs.
I got the film back and noticed there was a blur in the middle of the shot. I pretty much shat myself as i thought i had scratched my fisheye, turns out it only needed a clean.



I think everyone has seen Daniel do this already, so it's just ended up on the blog.
